Retreats to rediscover Life.

For years, the words Retreat Centers, or Retreat spaces, in English, Retreats, have become very popular and have represented a change in the way of achieving well-being and tranquility, both mental and physical.

Spas and Wellness Centers

At the beginning of the century, spas partly fulfilled these requirements. They were true places of recovery, but also social centers, where people were encouraged not only to take the various medicinal waters, but also to be able to forge new friendships and thus leave the usual environment.

Spas were declining, and the rise of the so-called Wellness Centers was partly favored. However, a Wellness Center has many limitations, as it neither encourages nor acts holistically on what is most necessary: the factors that can cause stress and lack of mental peace.

The growth and boom of the "Retreats" concept is due to the fact that they offer not only body treatments, but very deep programs that manage to activate the recovery of balance in mind, body, and soul.

The understanding of the spiritual.

A key part of retreat programs is the holistic concept of not dividing or focusing only on one part of the individual, but considering them in a holistic way, as a harmonious whole. A health problem can be caused by poor resolution of internal conflicts. A lack of balance in nutrition can lead to mental problems; that is, there is harmony and balance in the human being, which, if not respected, generates all kinds of ailments and health problems.

Holistic retreat programs are offered in suitable spaces, and this is a key part. Not just any hotel or country house can be adapted without methodical planning carried out by hands and masterful wisdom in various areas. And this is not something that can be done improvisationally.

To choose a retreat that is truly genuine and effective, key factors must be taken into account such as the location, the team of therapists, the quality of the programs. And above all, the authenticity of the whole, that is, the mission and vision of the center. Vocation and ability make the difference.

Vocation and hability, make the difference.

The location.

The place does matter. It is hardly possible to develop a good retreat in a very touristy or noisy environment. Nor in urban centers. Truly prestigious retreats have developed in natural settings, not necessarily luxurious, but they are usually centers of great energy. The first countries to offer retreats were Asian. Places where the balance between mind, body, and spirit is already a legacy and a millenary tradition. Bali, Sri Lanka, India... In Europe, they began to flourish in unique corners with magnificent nature, such as Switzerland, northern Italy, and especially beautiful and unique places in France and Spain.

Therapists and holistic programs.

It is important to realize that no matter how healing and captivating the environment is, it is not complete without a team of therapists who create and develop holistic programs with very precise therapies that are constantly being improved and reviewed. These programs are not the result of marketing studies, but of the wisdom and precision of professionals with very comprehensive and specialized training.

Acupuncture, foot reflexology, singing bowl sound baths, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, biocoding, family constellations, chronotherapy... are some of the disciplines that require highly trained experts to ensure a truly valuable and positive result.

MISSION & VISION

Something essential is the vocation of the establishment or retreat center. Prioritizing quality, the ability to help and support the patient, the pursuit of constant improvement in all aspects of the center, is basic to developing a truly valuable space, since the goal is also important.

The Mission should priorise always to help recovering people's quality of life and inner balance.

Writing is very therapeutic as it can serve to capture thoughts, emotions, and personal experiences that through writing aim to promote self-reflection, self-knowledge, and emotional management.
